SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE
2019–2020
Scroll Down for More explores the female body, sexuality and the cultural expectations surrounding femininity. Through provocative imagery, ambiguous forms and fragments of language, the series questions how women's bodies are represented, interpreted and defined.
Figurative drawings gradually give way to abstraction. Lines suggest bodies without fully revealing them, leaving recognition and interpretation open to the viewer.
The series also marks a period of material experimentation. Collage, resin, acrylic paint, ballpoint pen and neon markers are used to build surfaces in which controlled drawing meets spontaneous gestures.
These experiments laid the groundwork for Layers of Perception (2021–2022), where the relationship between image, language and interpretation became the central subject.
