about
I work with objects, garments, images and spaces, exploring how meaning changes through use, encounter and context.
Making — whether wearables, images or objects — has always been accompanied by attention to what happens to them once they enter the world.
Painting, philosophy and fashion were part of my practice from the beginning. I studied painting and fashion in parallel, moving between Tartu and Tallinn, and early works already crossed the boundaries between the two. Over time, working across different cultures, industries and contexts broadened this perspective — from the making of individual objects to the systems through which they are produced, valued, circulated and interpreted.
My work begins with an observation. From there, it may take the form of a garment, an object, a painting, an installation, a performance or a digital experience.
