Layers of Perception explores the relationship between an artwork and the person encountering it.

Built through layers of colour, gesture, scraped surfaces and fragments of text, the paintings bring together bold, pop art-inspired colours, graphic elements and expressions drawn from everyday language and social media.

The artist initiates the work, but does not determine its final meaning. Each viewer brings their own memories, associations and experiences, creating a different reading of what is seen.
