Thoughts under the lights of Paris

Paris- the city where people live and breathe fashion. For them, fashion is as natural and easy as eating or talking. It´s like life that is carried on from generation to generation, it´s inherited through their parents blood, learned by the language and absorbed from every bite of local food. Fashion is in every breath that they take. The emerging feeling, that every person on the street could teach you much more than any fancy fashion school in the world, is as obvious as visiting the Eiffel Tower while being in Paris. It´s not taught to them, they have just grown up with it. Designer boutiques are full of customers who look like they´ve just stepped out from Vogue´s fashion spread , although the outfits are not put together by the stylist of The Sex and the City… they´ve done it themselves, naturally, without overthinking and overwhelming effort… Just the pure harmonic beauty!

Of course, during the week of Paris Premiere Vision , those same boutiques are occupied by different kind of costumers, the fashionpeople with certain goals.. who is here to sell textiles, others here to buy, some who are just looking around and some to show something. The city and shops are full of people with different cultural backgrounds and styles, but somehow they are all connected by one international language- the trend!  It´s like every season we learn a new common language, that is replaced with another one after six months and then after some time we welcome those old familiar alphabets and grammar rules again. Each time we learn to speak these new languages  but mix them with our own personal stylegrammar.

And that´s the way we all meet twice a year in different fashion exhibitions and events, recognize and look each other for a while and then rush forward on the speed  of fashion. During this slight moment in the homeland of FASHION we breathe in the divine breath of Paris, keep it and then after arriving home again breathe  out everything that Paris has to offer for us each year!

I’m happy! It’s pleasant to see someone incredibly educated about what they do. Maintain up the fantastic work and I’ll return for much more! Thank you!
